Unusual Pets

Question of The Day February 8, 2013 ~ Unusual Pets

What’s the most unusual pet you’ve had, or heard of?

As a kid I would make pets of just about anything.

Often I would come home from hunting with some juvenile that I had killed the parent of, and would end up hand raising it and keeping it for a pet.  I have raise mynor birds, back birds, ducks, geese, mice, possums, dogs, cats, ferrets.

Probably the oddest would be a weta, sort of giant omnivorous grasshoppers.
