[ 24/January/22 – Why does physics distrust and even reject philosophy?]
I just don’t get any distinction between physics and philosophy, except by academics trying to protect jobs or privilege within academia.
For those who truly love wisdom, that means understanding all aspects of the complexity within which we are embedded and embodied – the physical and the biological, which means using the most advanced modeling tools available, which means understanding all aspects of mathematics, logic, computation, complexity, evolution and uncertainty – at least to some reasonable degree, which necessarily mean accepting some degree of eternal ignorance and error.
