What can be more possible for the human race, longevity or immortality?
[ 2/1/21 ]
There can be no guarantee of immortality, and there can be reasonable confidence about indefinite life extension. We cannot know any infinity, and there must always exist risks we know nothing about, as well as events beyond the time/light cone of our existence about which we cannot plan. And it does seem possible to create systems to mitigate most of the known risks, and to keep constantly exploring the unknown.
