Seeing that does change what seems possible.

We need to use all the tools we have available.

We need the feelings we have, those things that have survived the sorting by deep time that give us the sub conscious systems of body and brain, and those systems sorted by culture that give us language and all the tools we implicitly embody from culture, and we need to use our powers of logic and reason.

We need to use them all in balance if we are to survive.

We cannot rely one any one alone, and we need to have them all aligned.

Respect for individual life and liberty has to be at base, then respect for biology and culture, with all the responsibilities that come with both, to maintain those structure required for survival.

It is complex.

Real freedom is always based in cooperation.
