Can human beings survive away from the biosphere of Earth since we are intrinsically linked to and dependent on the microbiology of our planet?

Provided we take some reasonable approximation to the biosphere of earth with us then it shouldn’t pose any significant difficulty.

Large scale space stations, big tubes rotating to create artificial gravity, should allow us to live away from earth quite comfortably, provided we take a decent ecology with us.
