What are the facts that you know are 100% true, yet many people commonly get incorrect?

None.

It seems beyond any reasonable shadow of doubt that anyone who thinks that they know anything non-trivial about reality with 100% certainty is naively wrong. Reality seems to contain many classes of fundamental uncertainty and things that may not be known.

So 100% certainty displays a level of arrogance that is not supported by the evidence, and in some contexts, there are some things one can be reasonably confident about – 99.999999% – which for many is close enough to 100% that the difference isn’t worth worrying about (which is true in a sense, and it is never actually 100%).

About Ted Howard NZ

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
