Quora – shortcuts in life

Quora – Do you believe there are shortcuts in life? How did you find the shortcuts?

In the big picture, no.

Neural networks require experience to develop competencies.

There is no substitute for experience.

Experience usually involves making mistakes, and sometimes it takes a while to clean up the messes that result from those mistakes.

And one can certainly gain and apply competencies on the path, so that it may seem to others that you have found a shortcut, but they don’t usually appreciate just what it took to develop that particular set of competencies.
