When you’re 90 years old, what will matter most to you in the world?
I would hope that in 28 years I will be somewhat biologically younger than I am now, and would be looking forward to living a very long time.
What would matter most to me is what matters now – security and liberty, and I would expect to have a lot more of both by then.
I would expect that all processes necessary for basic survival would be fully automated, and all people would be mixing their time between leisure pursuits and projects that really interested them.
Maintaining systems that work for all people and the ecosystems we share this planet with, cleaning up the messes we have made – those things should be well under way, and they may still require some input.
