For me, good and evil are illusions that all children must learn as part of their development, and all adults need to be able to see as such.

All any of us can do is to make the best guess we can, on the information we have available.
For me, the highest values behind such choices are individual life and individual liberty, both of them in a contexts of social and ecological responsibility.
It is really quite unsettling to accept the mathematical truth, that when one encounters any infinity, however much you have explored is a close approximation to nothing compared to the infinity that remains unexplored – and that must always be true.
