Contradictions – Ideapod

Contradictions

How do you make sense of the contradictions that you have in your life versus values?

Keep asking questions, questioning assumptions, until the contradictions resolve.

In this case, become clear that yes, money is needed to live in today’s world, and also be clear that the very concept of using markets to value things is the single greatest threat to human survival, and needs to be replaced by automated systems delivering universal abundance of all reasonable needs to all people (everyone on the planet – no exceptions).

When most things were genuinely scarce, markets made sense.

Now that we have the power to automate any process, they don’t.

Markets now tie us to a scarcity based measure of value.

Automation delivers the possibility of universal abundance.

Markets will always work against universal abundance, as there is no profit in it.

So we live in a time of transition, as more people start to wake up to the levels of deception present in things they never thought to question before.

About Ted Howard NZ

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
