When we are faced with challenges in our lives, emotional, spiritual, and or physical and our comfort zone is breached what is our process of recovery?
What’s to recover from?
Assess, analyse, probe or act as necessary, optimise the situation as much as possible.
Comfort is vastly over rated.
Most of the really interesting stuff in my life has been well outside my comfort zone.
And one of the things I quite intentionally did was explore just how far this body would go, in all sorts of domains, to learn the limits, so that I knew where I could actually go with some margin of safety.
And one of the problems with competencies is one needs to keep practicing them to keep them near peak.
So quite a few have faded substantially from lack of practice.
And I scare really easily, so just about everything is outside my “comfort zone”.
