Happiest Memory

17 Apr’15 ~QofDay~ Happiest Memory

What is your happiest memory?

Like FOS – too many to choose, so many different kinds of happiness.
Being present to others, just in the instant, without care for past or future.
Being present at the birth of my children – seeing each for the first time.
Making love to my wife.
Diving in warm water – suspended weightless in water.
Discovering a new concept, a new level of abstraction, exploring the infinities resulting, oblivious to reality.
Hitting a pure golf shot.
Completing a project knowing I had given everything to it, holding nothing back.
Standing on a mountain top, having gotten there from ocean level under my own power.
Summers spent water skiing.
Winters spent snow skiing (warmed with mulled wine in the evening).
Pulling up a cray pot full of crayfish, or a net full of fish.

Many thousands of happy times, each unique in its own way.

About Ted Howard NZ

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
