Like OM – cold turkey.

About 23 years ago gave up coffee – was drinking about 25-30 cups a day and started to get the shakes quite bad. Just stopped. 3 weeks of violent stomach cramps and headaches, and then it eased. Stayed off for about 10 years.

Now I have 1cup most days, and 2 or three cups if driving long distances (more than 8 hours at the wheel).

Similarly did cold turkey giving up meat, sugar, chocolate and alcohol (on the same day).

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
