Fairy Tale

2 Jan ’15 :Todays Q: FAIRYTALE

Which is your favourite fairytale, and why?

I think fairy tales are great, because they give children a glimpse of the simplicity that exists on the other side of complexity, before their minds are capable of appreciating the complexity that actually exists.

The idea that love, and cooperation, can win in the end, is powerful, and is supported by vast amounts of evidence, but is hard to see when faced with the lies and deception of our current economic and political realities.

The world is far more complex, yet there are some deep truths made clear in many fairy tales. I have no particular favourite – and Santa Claus is as good as any.
