On your mind

29 Oct ’14 ~Q of Day~ On Your Mind

What is on your mind, right now, at this moment?

This question.

Immediately prior to that, was thinking about the Dresden James quote
“A truth’s initial commotion is directly proportional to how deeply the lie was believed.
It wasn’t the world being round that agitated people, but the fact that the world wasn’t flat.
When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.”

Just contemplating how profoundly this affects us all.
I was wondering how many of the things I think of as probably true are in fact false – probably far more than I would like.

About Ted Howard NZ

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
