13 Sept. ’14 ~Question of the Day~ Mistakes

If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?

Who’s afraid?

I make mistakes every day.
I don’t fear mistakes.
I often dislike the consequences, the cleaning up the messes that result from my mistakes.

Mistakes are part of learning, part of creating, part of being.
I attempt to not repeat the same mistake too often.
There is an old adage, the person who never made a mistake never made anything!
Accept them.
Welcome them.
They indicate we are living and creating.

Many people learn to fear mistakes from the consequences they encounter during schooling. It is something best not learned, or unlearned as soon as possible.

Seems like I might be a cancer survivor. Thinking about the systemic incentives within the world we find ourselves in, and how we might adjust them to provide an environment that supports everyone (no exceptions) - see www.tedhowardnz.com/money
