Want a lot of

Question of the Day ~ 19 Dec ’13 ~ want a lot of…

Is there something pretty or practical that you seem to always want a lot of on hand, much more than you would need in a reasonable timeframe?

What is a reasonable timeframe?

If one plans on living for thousands of years, or is prepared for disasters that could mean no help would arrive for weeks, then what is appropriate?

It’s all a matter of personal judgement, of likelihood of threats and mitigating measures needed.
And I have several computers, many hard drives, DVD backups in the deep freezer (in case of fire), usb sticks in my pocket. I take backups seriously.
