Do you (or did you) do yoga? Tell us about it.
I have done very introductory yoga for a few years.
For the last couple of years I have just been doing very basic back bends and stretches.
I found it quite interesting how persistent practice allowed me to bend further. I am no yogi, and for me it has definitely helped me stay mobile, and able to play golf again, after having back injuries that made walking difficult.
I now consistently adopt the practice of going into and through any pain, rather than trying to protect myself from it. Seems to work much better.
And like most ancient practices, the explanatory framework that comes with it often makes no sense at all, yet the practices seem to work.
