Ailsa’s surgery today

Just got off the phone speaking to Andrew Vincent (Ailsa’s surgeon). He said he had to open up both sides of her leg again, and the operation went really well. She should wake up in an hour or so, and should have full mobility in the joint.

Yahoo!!!

Will go back in to the hospital in another hour or so and be there when she gets back to the ward.
She is in Ward 19, room 7 again, but a different bed this time (Bed 5).

We should be back in Kaikoura Thursday.

4:40pm update – Ailsa is back in the ward, sleepy and sore and otherwise well.

1 Response to Ailsa’s surgery today

  1. Ted – Thank you for this update. Yesterday (Sunday, Jan 29 from 10am to 5pm) I taught Reiki Level 1 to seven new students. Near the end of our class, we used Ailsa as our “target” for distance work–each of us focusing on the x-ray you’d previously posted.
