Question of the Day, September 18 2011- how women differ from men.
Aside from the obvious physical differences, what sets women apart from men?
There don’t appear to be any hard rules, other than the obvious physical differences.
On average, women seem to be more focussed on nurturing, and less on aggression, more into building social networks, and less into single minded focus on a target; and those are only averages, when it comes to any particular individual, there are no clear rules.
I know some few women who are more aggressive than most men I know, and some men who are more tender and caring than most women.
It seems to me that focussing on defining individuals by their sex is a very poor indicator.
Like Torch says, just make the time and effort to get to know the person, and stop making simplistic assumptions.
Women and men are both people, and people are very diverse and individual.
“…focussing on defining individuals by their sex is a very poor indicator.”
I heartily second the motion!
