Just got off the phone talking to David Gibbs the oncologist from Christchurch, confirming that the radiologist agrees with his assessment that there is no sign of cancer anywhere on any of the scans.
I got told to keep on doing what I’m doing.
Looks like I might be around for quite a wile to come.
Yay! This is excellent news!
Gil
Thanks Gil
Quiet confidence is gaining momentum.
Are you going to attend any of the World Cup Rugby matches? I bought 2 tickets to see NZ – SA match in Port Elizabeth last month, but did not go as I gave my ticket to my dad as a birthday present and he went with my husband. My father is also a cancer survivor (malignant soft tissue sarcoma), five years clear now.
Nope – just sitting at home watching them on the TV. The nearest one was about a 3 hours drive away. It’s a little over 2 hours drive to the nearest airport with a regular scheduled service.
We have the Kaikoura Seafest here tomorrow, and as President of the Lions Club I will be there manning our tent – serving beer to the masses.
Give your father my congratulations.
Oh boy howdy — that’s some FANTASTIC news Ted. I’m beyond THRILLED for you and yours!
Thanks Laurie
There is a great lightness.
Off to Seafest in a few minutes.
